Airport Antalya

Antalya Airport is in the eastern Turkish city of Antalya – a popular area for holidaymakers. The airport has three terminals, which, due to the structural characteristics of the flight area, are not actually connected to one another. The National Terminal, the oldest of the airport terminal buildings, deals primarily with flights within Turkey. International flights start and land at one of the two international terminals. The departure and arrival times of flights are displayed on large boards at the terminals. From the UK, flights to Antalya are operated by a number of airlines including Monarch, Pegasus and Thomas Cook, which operates flights from a wide variety of British airports to this popular holiday resort. Antalya airport has the usual airport facilities, such as a bureau de change, baggage carts and information desks, along with restaurants, cafes and duty-free shops. There is also a hotel within walking distance of the terminal building. The IC Hotel Antalya Airport is located north of the international Terminal 1 and offers every conceivable comfort for travellers looking for a hotel near the airport. There are several ways of travelling between Antalya Airport and the city centre. From 6 am to 10 pm, the bus number 202 operates a regular service to the inner city and the train station of Antalya. The Havaş Ground Handling shuttle service also operates an hourly service between 6 am and 9 pm from the National Terminal (near the taxi stand) to the tourist centre of Antalya. Alternatively taxis are also available and travellers may also rent a car from one of the rental car companies at the Antalya airport building. International car rental companies such as National, Europcar, Hertz, Budget and Avis all have offices at Antalya Airport. There is also the Turkish company Ay-tu Rent A Car, which is a cheaper alternative to the larger companies and allows passengers to pick up and drop-off cars at the airport.
