Airport Moscow

Moscow-Domodedovo Airport is the largest of the three Moscow airports and is also considered to be one of the largest airports in Russia. It is located near the town of Domodedovo, about 40 km or 24 miles south of the Russian capital, Moscow. The airport was originally planned to be used only for freight and domestic flights, but has developed over the years to become a popular international airport, not least because many airlines have moved their base from the other two Moscow airports Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo to Domodedovo. Due to extensive modernization measures and construction work in recent years, such as the building of Terminal 3, the airport has been able to expand its capacity. With the opening of the new terminal, the airport can now be used by up to 35 million passengers annually. The services at the airport have also improved. Along with using the Wi-Fi access available throughout the airport, passengers have the opportunity to make their wait pass more quickly by visiting the DVD cinema. Travel from Moscow's largest airport to Moscow Paveletsky railway station is possible using the Aeroexpress train which takes 40 to 50 minutes into central Moscow. With a journey time of about 30 minutes, buses connect the airport with the metro station Domodedovskaya. A taxi ride to the station takes about 90 minutes. The taxi ranks are located outside the arrivals hall.
