Airport New York

Tourists can get to the “Big Apple” New York City via one of three airports in and around New York. The largest of these is John F. Kennedy International Airport, followed by Newark Liberty International Airport in the neighbouring state of New Jersey, and LaGuardia Airport which is used primarily for domestic flights. More than 46 million passengers annually are handled at John F. Kennedy airport alone; Newark airport is used by around 36 million passengers a year and La Guardia Airport by about 25 million passengers – a total of over 100 million passengers per year. JFK Airport and LaGuardia Airport are in Queens on Jamaica Bay, Flushing Bay and Bowery Bay respectively. Newark Liberty Airport is located on Newark Bay. The journey from all of the three airports to Manhattan - the centre of New York City - takes about 25 to 45 minutes in good traffic conditions. Manhattan has a large variety of attractions to offer the visitor. A walk in Central Park - the lung of New York City - or along Fifth Avenue with its endless shopping opportunities and the Rockefeller Center, a visit to the famous Brooklyn Bridge, vibrant Chinatown and Little Italy, or even a visit to the Empire State Building. Those interested in exclusive accommodation in New York can stay at the Setai Fifth Avenue 5-star hotel or at the Mondrian Soho 4-star hotel in Manhattan.
