Airport Tehran
Tehran-Imam Khomeini International airport is the largest and most important airport in Iran. It is the hub of the Iranian airline Mahan Air and Iran Air. Besides the international airport, Tehran also has a second airport: Mehrabad International Airport which is mostly used for domestic flights, for example during the Iranian Hajj to Saudi Arabia. The airport is located about 30 km or 23 miles southwest of the capital Tehran. Taxis charge a fixed price in all areas of Tehran. There is also a bus that goes from Mehrabad Airport to Haram Metro Station. Parking is possible at the terminal and at nearby car parks. From the car parks, stairs and elevators will take passengers to the terminals. Car parks located further from the terminal building are served by a free shuttle bus.
