Airport Vancouver
Vancouver International Airport is located 15 km or 9 miles south of the city on Sea Island. Besides the international and national terminals, there is also a South Terminal in the southern part of the airport. This terminal is primarily used for seaplanes and helicopters. The terminals are very clearly laid out; should passengers nevertheless not find their way around then they may approach one of the Green Coat volunteers. Vancouver Airport is well served by public transport. The Canada Line train was set up for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 and takes passengers to the city centre within 20 minutes. Buses also operate regularly to places such as Vancouver, Langley, Chilliwack and Whistler. Alternatively, there are taxis and rental cars at the airport. The journey by car to the centre of Vancouver takes about 30 minutes.
